On October 14, 2022, from Roof Coliving social enterprise, Izel Büyükgöze, Emre Güzel, and Zeynep Aybüke Mutlu were guests of our GENC 202 / EDU 401 Community Service course. After our conversation on community service and volunteering, our guests shared the establishment story of the initiative, it’s values , and it’s works. For our students, who will develop and implement community service projects during the term, these sharings supported their practices and raised awareness of volunteering.
Roof Coliving is an initiative that continues its work with the dream of establishing “common living spaces” where people can come together, live, learn and create, and redesign daily living spaces in a participatory way.
