ELT Department Online Graduation Ceremony!

An online graduation meeting was held on June 8, 2020 with the students who graduated from the TED University English Language Teaching Program in the 2019-2020 academic year. At the meeting, in the participation of Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Prof. Dr. Belgin Aydın, Head of Department of English Language Teaching, the students shared their ideas about the education at the university, the opportunities offered by the department and their career plans after graduation. Speaking of the opportunities offered to them as the members of the TED family, and the privileges brought by them to participate in projects carried out by the Turkish Education Association such as "Full Support for Education" and "TED Ambassadors" and our University, they said they were ready to start the profession. Students, who carried out some of their education and teaching practices remotely due to the pandemic, underlined that this process also provided them with separate skills and the support provided by the university in every respect throughout the process. The meeting, in which the faculty members also expressed their opinions about the students, ended with the wish that a face-to-face graduation ceremony could be held at the first opportunity.
