Prof. Dr. Belgin AYDIN, Head of Department of English Language Teaching, participated at the symposium “EDUCATION IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE SYMPOSIUM AFTER PREPARATORY CLASS IN TEACHING LANGUAGE INSTITUTIONS IN ENGLISH”, organized by Beykent University on 19 June 2019 as a guest speaker. The symposium combining academy and business world focused on the importance of foreign language skills necessary for both students’ education and business life.
Dr. Gölge Seferoğlu from METU also represented the academy world at the symposium. The business world was represented by Atınç YILMAZ, Oxford University Turkey Sales Manager, Celal PİR, TV Programmer and Gül Sağır AYDIN, Kiğılı Marketing Manager. They participated in the panel ’21st Century Skills in Employability and Foreign Language” moderated by Turgut TURUNÇ, from Altınbaş University.
