Students who will graduate from TED University English Language Teaching in June have completed their internship process with Ministry of Education schools because of Covid-19. The head of Department Potf. Dr. Belgin Aydın evaluated the process by holding a zoom meeting with the internship students. In the meeting, students explained the distance education processes in general, and how they did internship in distance education. In this process, the students who prepared lesson plans and filmed two of their plans and videotaped, shared how they did this and what kind of problems they experienced. The preservice teachers stated that doing internships remotely is beneficial for them in many ways, most of all, they developed their problem solving and adapting to different situations and they had to use technology more effectively in teaching. They said that they felt that the four-year education they took to step into the profession, the face-to-face internship process they carried out in the first semester and the internship process they carried out remotely due to the pandemic prepared them for the teaching profession.
