Our Head of Department Prof. Dr. Belgin Elmas wrote an article titled "When do we start dreaming in another language?” for Cumhuriyet Newspaper's 100th Anniversary Education Special issue. In this special issue, academics and experts, including Prof. Dr. Selçuk Şirin, Prof. Dr. Üstün Dökmen, Ali Ekber Şahin, Futurist Ufuk Tarhan, told about the goals of raising a human being for the second century, and what has been done and what needs to be done in the way of modern education. Elmas also discussed the sources of the problems in English education, which has been an unsolved problem in our country for years, and the answers to the questions of when should we start foreign language education and how we should shape education, and how parents should guide their children in this regard.
