Online Visit for Accreditation to the Department of English Language Education by EPDAD!

EPDAD had an online visit for the accreditation of the department of English Language Education, which applied to EPDAD for accreditation in the fall semester of 2020, on 31st March – 01 April 2021. The head of the EPDAD visiting committee Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan, committee members (Asst. Prof. Dr. Ersin Türe, Asst. Prof. Dr. Burcu Ünal, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yüksel Deniz Arıkan, BA St. Rabia Yıldız, and BA St. Tayyip Has) had participated to the meetings with Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kavak, the dean of Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Belgin Aydın, the chair of English Language Education, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pelin İrgin, the head of the Accreditation Committee. Also, they had meetings with the faculty members, research assistants, and the students studying at the department of English Language Education. At the last meeting of the visit, the head of the EPDAD visiting committee Prof. Dr. Süleyman Doğan shared the exit statement prepared by the team based on the Self-Assessment Report, visits and interviews. The evaluation result regarding accreditation is expected to be announced in April 2021.
