The head of the Department of English of Iowa State University, Prof. Dr. Volker H. Hegelheimer made a presentation called “Developing an online course/MOOC for the use of technology in the English language classroom: Lessons learned” at TEDU Faculty of Education on July 30, 2019. In his presentation, he talked about his project, which is based mainly on online courses taught by Iowa State University, and stated what they learned from this project. In addition, David Fay, who is an education attaché at the US Embassy in Ankara, participated in the presentation and shared his experiences about the project. This speech was also important for inspiring TEDU English Language Teaching academicians.
