A meeting between Turkish Education Association (TED) Department of Foreign Languages and TED University Foreign Language Education Department was held on the possible cooperation opportunities between these two institutions on July 9. The possible projects between TEDU English Language Teaching students and TED College English Language Teachers in order to prepare students for the profession better was discussed.

2023 Education Vision- Academic Advisor, TEDU Faculty of Education

Dr.Pelin Irgin had official meetings and signed protocols with Hasan - Şükran Saruhan Secondary School and Faruk Nafiz Çamlıbel Anatolian High School within the scope of 2023 Education Vision- Academic Advisor. She will continue her meetings with the school managers and teachers in the 2019-2020 academic year.

TEDU Linguistics II Students Explored Sign Language...

Students taking ELE 208 Linguistics II with Asst. Prof. Dr. Melike Ünal Gezer explored the nature of Sign Language from linguistics perspectives. In order to show appreciation of people with hearing disabilities and the challenges that they might come across on a daily basis, students prepared short clips (GIF) signing brief phrases and meaningful messages.

R.A. Ebru Boynueğri’s Paper Presentation

Our Research Assistant Ebru Boynueğri made an oral presentation at VI^th International Eurasian Educational Research Congress held in Ankara. She presented her thesis titled “The relationship between Refusal Strategies and Identity Statuses in International Students in Turkey” which was submitted in the scope her studies at Educational Psychology Program, M.A., at Ankara University.
