Lecturer Mehmet Sak and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurdan Özbek Gürbüz’s (METU) co-authored article titled “Dynamic changes in pre-service language teacher well-being in the classroom ecology: A micro approach” has been published in “TESOL Quarterly” (SSCI; Q1), one of the respected journals on language learning/teaching.

As part of the TED Ambassadors project, our students visited TED Colleges!

TED University English Language Teaching fourth grade students visited TED Colleges in different cities of Turkey within the scope of the TED Ambassadors project carried out jointly by the Turkish Education Association and TED University. Our students Selen Ertunç visited TED Adana College, Ayşe Özkan TED Mersin College, Ezgi Arslan TED Eskişehir College, Ecem Gökçen Tunçer TED Samsun College and Fatma Betül Akmaz TED Karadeniz Ereğli College.

Res. Asst. Mehmet Sak's Article Has Been Published...

Res. Asst. Mehmet Sak’s single-authored article entitled “Dynamicity of language teacher motivation in online EFL classes” has been published in an international peer-reviewed journal “SYSTEM” (SSCI; Q1). While the article is the first to focus on how and why teacher motivation changes in short time intervals in online language lessons, it also provides new suggestions for increasing teachers' online teaching skills. Besides, the article is included within the scope of TÜBİTAK International Scientific Publications Incentive (UBYT) award and TEDU publication award.
